What differentiates Miva from other similar products?

Miva has a strong focus on security, as well as a reliable implementation of all the features one might expect in a catalog management system plus shopping cart.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Its open architecture is what allows it to really be utilized in ways that the base product doesn't necessary (and shouldn't need to) support, such as integrations with unlimited third-party systems.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I wish there were a less expensive version for smaller clients to use.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Make sure you have the budget for it, but if you do, it's a great product.

What differentiates Miva from other similar products?

At the time I started with Miva, it was truly unique. I liked how the product grew during our time using it, We went from integrating our shopping cart into static html to a full blown CMS with a responsive interface that had a great looking mobile site. We integrated Stone Edge Order Manager with our software

open API and 3rd party functionality

don't remember disliking anything

It has been so long that I don't think my recommendations are valid

It just works for us.

The update process has been horrible. We would be fined with no effective advance notice of updates being available.
