What differentiates Miva from other similar products?

Many built-in features that require either customization or add-on costs over competing carts.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Programing language that allows almost any options.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The cost model is based on gross revenue, which to me is an unrealistic approach to pricing.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Weigh the cost vs features. For custom stores, make sure you get with a solid developer (there are a number of solid developers who can make Miva do what you need).

What differentiates Miva from other similar products?

Customization of existing package

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Ease of use to the CMS. Intuitively designed, sonics easy to train others.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It was a high ticket investment for the size of our company and our initial launch into ecommerce.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If the budget is there, go for it. Be actively involved in all aspects of design and implementation. Knownwhat you want on the front end so less post launch customization needs to be considered.

What differentiates Miva from other similar products?

Miva has a strong focus on security, as well as a reliable implementation of all the features one might expect in a catalog management system plus shopping cart.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Its open architecture is what allows it to really be utilized in ways that the base product doesn't necessary (and shouldn't need to) support, such as integrations with unlimited third-party systems.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I wish there were a less expensive version for smaller clients to use.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Make sure you have the budget for it, but if you do, it's a great product.
