What differentiates Mimecast Sync & Recover from other similar products?

This software gives a centralized way to recover currupted, deleted and lost emails, calendar and contacts. It does this by taking advantage of the cloud based archive.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like that recovering lost emails and contacts is easy. The centralized recovery saves time. I like the security features of the software.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The software has been good since deployment.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

For email archiving and recovery, this software does not disappoint. It's aaffordable as well

What differentiates Mimecast Sync & Recover from other similar products?

The setup process for mimecast is easy to do and the vendor support is very helpful for this process.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The level of detail the politicise go into is a great aspect of this product and helps protect against spam and spoofing email. The archiving feature is also very easy to use to restore lost emails.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The administrative console is very clunky and can be quite hard to navigate. To review logs is also quite difficult and not streamline due to the complicated process.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Be carefully when creating the policies as they can be quite restrictive blocking access to known sites. Before going live review the policies created and even check with mimecast to ensure the will be no affect to end users apart from protection and archiving.

What differentiates Mimecast Sync & Recover from other similar products?

The product is best used for medium and larger businesses with more than 100 people. It's not cost-effective for less than 100 users.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Very reliable in up time with rarely an issue receiving or sending mail through it.

What do you dislike most about this product?

They have limited electronic resources available for support. It is rare that I find the answer to an issue without having to call them.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The software prevents any malicious links from getting through and even obfuscates to real link until it is proven safe.

Support for Backup Types Support for Full, Incremental (change since last incremental backup) & Differential (change since last full backup) backup types.

Compliance Compliance with privacy legislation, including General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the ability to enact requests for purging of personal information.

Backup Archiving Ability to conduct archive backups for long-term storage.

Full System Backup Restore The backup of the full email system and all of its servers, including the operating system.
