One of the best editing tools-Microsoft Publisher

Likeliness to Recommend

5 /10

What differentiates Microsoft Publisher from other similar products?

Microsoft Publishers helps me design my travel postcards. I can create my schedule and calendar using the same software. It also allows me to develop professional emails and beautiful banners for the websites. The alternatives like Canva or Photoshop may do a better job, but Publisher is easy to learn and handle, which makes it the perfect software to start your designing process.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Microsoft Publisher software is easy to use like its entire Microsoft suite and gives you more flexibility than PowerPoint/Word to edit your designs. Microsoft Publisher has a lot of templates that help you get started according to what your needs are. Be it schedules, checklists, greeting cards, brochures, emails, catalogs, or even letterheads - Microsoft Publisher is the way to go.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Microsoft Publisher is easy-to-use software. I don't find anything wrong with it except that it is beginner software - you will find other better alternatives (they all are complicated to learn even though they might provide more functionality). It is a part of the Microsoft suite, and if you don't have its licensed version, it might be easier to go with some other software.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you have a licensed version - go for it. Otherwise try some other software like Canva which helps you design Instagram posts, Facebook posts, Web banners, as well as presentations.

Pros

  • Reliable
  • Performance Enhancing
  • Enables Productivity
  • Unique Features

Microsoft Publisher - Easy Design Software

Likeliness to Recommend

8 /10

What differentiates Microsoft Publisher from other similar products?

Publisher is an easy to use software which helps a novice person like me design business cards. I also use it to design greeting/thank you cards for my clients. It has plethora of templates available that saves time. It is a basic software with easy-to-understand features.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It has a lot of in-built templates that speed up the process. Microsoft has kept this product simple like its other applications to enhance the end-user experience.

What do you dislike most about this product?

To get more functionality you have to move to a more complicated software - they have not upgraded Publishers much in their subsequent version - which makes this software stagnant.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Publisher is a great software of beginners - you can become a pro in like an hour and meet your simple design needs. If you already have a license - definitely take advantage of this software.
