Great product, cheaper than MS Dynamics

What differentiates Microsoft Power BI from other similar products?

Power BI is easy to setup and administer. When we made the migration to O365/Azure AD, our 3rd party licensing vendor worked w/ Microsoft to add any additional features, and we never knew we had Power BI. We have 3-4 end users utilizing this app, and the data I see from it is solid. We have 1000 licenses for a small business, but it has the data we need streamline data communication across our company, and our Board of Directors. Only Microsoft Dynamics is better for a lot of data, crunching and adding a more streamlined data management. The main benefit of this app is the price is great versus a MS Dynamics.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Price and ease of administration.

What do you dislike most about this product?

A bit challenging to use, but think of it like Excel but more charting and stats. Once you learn it, it gets highly usable and shareable.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you want a more robust approach to present data to Executives or your Board of Directors, this product is great. Example: Our Cyber Security Analyst utilizes this app to make charts/data easy to view for our Board and Company. We even have a couple of users simply making monthly Service percentages (in chart format) and shares with several departments. I would recommend if someone wants to implement the product, they should check pricing w/ Microsoft and a reputable 3rd party vendor (more licenses of O365/Teams your business has, cheaper it is.)

The best thing about Microsoft Power BI is its powerful Data Visualisation Capabilities. The extensive range of data transformation and modelling features enables to clean and analyse data effectively

What do you dislike most about this product?

It lags and performs poorly on Big Data

It provides us with ability to create visually appealing and interactive reports
