What differentiates Microsoft Power BI from other similar products?

- Microsoft integration esp with Excel as business users are used to it - Mobile report

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

- Easy to build reports - Functionality of slicers, filters, refresh etc - Publish as a dashboard - Security with existing Azure SSO

What do you dislike most about this product?

- Complex data management, crashes when large inline computations - Advanced automated insights (Ms will bring in copilot here hopefully)

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Power BI has user-friendly interface for development and users, extensive data connectivity options, various charting, and sits in the microsoft suite. Business users like it as its very intuitive for them coming from Excel.

Variations of data that can be received and compared

What do you dislike most about this product?

No real automation and AI that I have seen which is needed to serve up data much better.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Know what data you want to build quicker reporting. Don’t expect high levels of automation.

Microsoft Power BI is a great tool for understanding and looking at data. It helps you make complicated information easier to understand. You can create reports and dashboards that show your data in a clear way. For example, you can see how well sales are doing, keep track of website visitors, or study how customers behave. Power BI lets you connect to different types of data like Excel, databases, and cloud services, so it works with lots of different information. You can use it to explore data easily, with features like dragging and dropping pictures and asking questions in everyday language. Power BI is a must-have if you want to make good

Power BI has many different ways to show your data, like charts, graphs, maps, and tables. You can make these visualizations look the way you want and use them to explain what the data means. Power BI also lets you work together with your team or group by sharing reports and dashboards. Everyone can see the same data at the same time and even interact with it. This helps everyone work together better and make decisions faster.

What do you dislike most about this product?
