What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Simplicity in converting any data into meaningful graphs, charts, tables and other ways of visualizing data effectively and further share the same with stakeholders

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you enjoy working with data and finding interesting ways of presenting it. It really helps you to do it effectively and once the dashboard is created, you can quickly update it.

What differentiates Microsoft Power BI from other similar products?

It saves the project manager a lot of time to check the state of the project and acquire additional information about it; earlier, Excel was utilized, but now we use PowerBI to help us display and analyze data more quickly and efficiently. Microsoft Power BI launched a valuable feature called field parameter, which allows us to take the input value from the user and use it to filter on the dashboard.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Data transformation in Power BI using the Power Query editor is what I enjoy the best, and it is simple to execute data transformation in Power BI. The DAX language in Power BI is simple to grasp, and articles from the Power BI community have been really helpful when I've become stuck in the DAX code. Microsoft PowerBI has assisted me in displaying the data given in Excel format in a relevant dashboard that offers anybody seeing it a better perspective on the project.

What do you dislike most about this product?

We can connect PostgreSQL DB directly to Power BI Desktop, however we cannot connect PostgreSQL DB directly to Power BI service. To link PostgreSQL database with Power BI service, we must install an ODBC connector (or any other connection), and here is where the ODBC connector problem arises. When we load an older data source, it takes longer to load, and changing it in the query editor also takes a long time.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The program is simple to use and allows you to easily alter data and create visualizations. An account is not necessary for individual data analysis, but it is essential to publish reports and share them with other people. The application, which aids in the tracking of attendance, grades, contacts, and several other metrics, is simple to use from a development viewpoint, and the end product is simple to use for our end users, you may select from a variety of images, including bespoke visuals that can be simply added to any report.

What differentiates Microsoft Power BI from other similar products?

The formatting of charts and tables looks better and are easier to read than the ones created in Excel.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Making tables and charts in the software.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It is not very user friendly and takes a lot of time to learn and use software.

I would recommend the product for organizations that want to enhance their charts and tables but are willing to put in the time and effort to learn how to use the software effectively.
