What differentiates Microsoft Power BI from other similar products?

The easy to use designer is excellent and allows you to create detailed reports with minimal understanding of database architecture.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The graphs and charts scheduled for email delivery in various formats from pdf to csv are beautiful.

What do you dislike most about this product?

the cost even for a medium size organization is expensive with Azure, self hosting with an existing infrastructure is much more affordable.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you have an existing local system and support staff, self hosting is the way to go. If you do not have a preexisting infrastructure it may be more affordable than the staff required to support self host.
