What differentiates Microsoft Power BI from other similar products?
A superb alternative for excel sheets. With the assistance of Power Bi, I even have accomplished so much which might have taken years with the help of excel. The simplest issue regarding Power Bi is that it’s easy compared to Tableau. It can also be simply integrated with other office packages. Making Dashboards, Visual illustrations of the data. What I favor about Power BI is that gives a lot of creative options like buttons, drill throughs that help in creating the dashboards a lot of efficient and interactive.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The best feature regarding this is the benefit of using the application. The app has in-built tutorial videos that demonstrate a way to execute a specific task. You can do all the options that you just do in an excel, just ten times better. The appliance connects to SQL, Python, web as data sources as well to finish our anaylsis. On high of that, there are many visual sources we can produce to reinforce presentation. Simple use and integration with MS storage, Azure / Sharepoint, and so on using external plugins for NLP visualization, word cloud, etc. this is often an evergrowing list and helps in developing appealing dashboards.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Connection to information sources to Non-MS Azure cloud data sources is cumbersome. We’d like external drivers that are paid at times. Have faced problems while connecting to AWS Athena, S3, SAP data sources. Tableau tends to own a brighter interface with an intuitive ribbon. MS Power Bi must pick up here. The tool includes a lot of positive attributes.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Cost-efficient, simple to Implement. Check connectivity with your information sources additionally you can not create snapshots with power Bi so keep this in mind.

it can handle large amount of data at a time. the charts are amazing and simple to create. it help us to create powerful reports and Dashboards.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The monthly price of premium service is high. Heat Maps should be improved. Sometime it take long time to generate a report.

it help to view and organize data from variety of sources at single platform and also will create better business report and presentation in less time.
