What differentiates Microsoft Power BI from other similar products?

It is compatible with many sources of information and being a Microsoft product, it is easy to convince IT managers to buy licenses. Its visualizations are easy to do, and the fact that it works with the DAX language is a point in its favor. The desktop version is free.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The visualizations are very clear. customizing them is easy and their interactive aspect surprises managers who must make decisions with data. With little effort you can make impressive presentations. Also, there is a large community that supports Power BI

What do you dislike most about this product?

I think it needs to improve the geospatial visualization. Its combination with ArcGis is not that good.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

First use Power Bi Desktop to learn for free, and then contract the online service that allows you to work collaboratively.
