Gives tasks different priority levels. Shows the report of overall delays and done activities.

Great for Kanban Board and Agile Project Mgmt

What differentiates Microsoft Planner from other similar products?

The integration with the Micrsoft O365 suite. The Planner Hub allows for a deep dive into where my task assignees allocated their times to help with a typical burn down rate in Agile project development. It helps me understand the time spent on which tasks.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The intuitive functionalities, mostly the draging and dropping used in Kanban boards. This easily integrates with the MS Teams channel as a tab so that the comms and plans are all inter linked in the same place. I can create a typical customised Kanban board and simply move tasks where I need to and who I need to with easily found members who are internal or at least have an O365 licence.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The chart does not show you report on TASKS, it does show you be Status, Members, Priority and Bucket.....but knowing which Tasks are outstanding in the chart view makes it difficult to understand where to focus or support team members. Also you cannot export the tasks externally to perform analysis or even link with Power BI

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Great product to have if you are a Microsoft O365 organisation with other apps like Forms, Automate and Power BI then this is really great addition. If you are lucky enough to have the enterprise O365 licence and you are developing in Agile then this tool is great for managing the Development teams activtives and assignments.
