What differentiates Microsoft Forms from other similar products?

Microsoft Forms integrates seamlessly with Excel, which is another Microsoft product. Having Microsoft Forms integrating with Excel makes it convenient for me to export my survey results into .xls format ( the standard format for Excel files ). In my opinion, the .xls format is the best format in which data can be analyzed on a spreadsheet.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I am a huge fan of Microsoft Forms password protection functionality. This gives my surveys an extra level of protection when sharing surveys with targeted respondents. Ensuring that incase the survey gets into the wrong hands, the need for a password creates an extra level of difficulty to prevent unauthorized persons access to my surveys.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Using Microsoft Forms on a mobile device is difficult. This is because there is no mobile application , through which I am able to access Microsoft Forms and create, edit surveys on the move.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Microsoft Forms is a reliable surveying form tool in my opinion. It does have weaknesses though, such as poor collaboration for group work and of course as stated above , the absence of a mobile app.

  • Reliable

What differentiates Microsoft Forms from other similar products?

Microsoft Forms boasts of a collection of advanced features which are just not available on a lot of substitute software programs out there. Some of these advanced features include password protection for Forms and the ability to set expiration dates for Forms we share with respondents.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I love Microsoft Forms integration with Excel. This integration has helped me export data from surveys or online forms into Excel easily, for better data analysis purposes. This is of importance since Excel is easily the best spreadsheet for data analysis at the moment.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Microsoft Forms is limited in its ability to allow multiple users collaborate on a form, at the same time. Collaboration supportive mechanisms such as the ability to add comments to survey forms is also non-existent. This makes the process of collecting real-time feedback from my teammates while creating Forms a bit tedious and cumbersome.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Proven to be a reliable way to collect data from users via surveys and online forms.
