Microsoft Defender for Endpoint is an enterprise endpoint security platform designed to help enterprise networks prevent, detect, investigate, and respond to advanced threats. Defender for Endpoint customers need to apply for the Microsoft Threat Experts managed threat hunting service to get proactive Targeted Attack Notifications and to collaborate with experts on demand. Experts on Demand is an add-on service. Targeted Attack Notifications are always included after you have been accepted into Microsoft Threat Experts managed threat hunting service.

The most vulnerable antivirus on the market

What differentiates Microsoft Defender for Endpoint from other similar products?

The difference is that Microsoft Defender is an antivirus that instead of protecting the computers, what it does is slow down the system with its processes and make it more vulnerable, truly a product in my opinion, deficient

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

None, I do not like Windows Defender at all, it seems to me a poor product that does not fulfill the main function at all, which is to keep our computers protected and virus-free

What do you dislike most about this product?

Absolutely everything, outdated database, totally vulnerable, makes the system super slow and to top it all it blocks application installers that if they are safe, it really is a very bad antivirus solution, I would dare to say that the worst I have ever used in my life

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I do not recommend it to anyone, since it is the worst antivirus that exists in the market, definitely do not use it for the world.

It offers your basic protection across the board from malware, spyware and viruses

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It is always on even if no other antivirus is present

What do you dislike most about this product?

SmartScreen Filter only protects Microsoft browsers

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you need the best software to protect your Pc this is the best of all the other softwares out there out there

It offers a very unique protection against phishing sites.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It offers a reduced volume of alerts by automatically investigate and remediate threats. It has direct integration with Microsoft solutions, like Azure Defender, Intune amount others.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It sometimes slows the PC down during scanning.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

This product is perfect for low budget but for standard and full protection, I would not recommend it.
