What differentiates Microsoft SQL Server from other similar products?
Very good reputation and has great capabilities such as clustering, ability to administer using familiar Microsoft tools. SQL Management Studio is an excellent GUI to manage to server. Not also supports Linux
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Ease of administration, high performance and great capabilities. Backup and restore process is straight forward, commons query language used and good set of migration tools available
What do you dislike most about this product?
Cost can be high and licensing model could do with updating but very good
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Consider trialing the free offerings of the product to get some basic experience, onboard all relevant teams prior to purchasing to test drive the solution.

What differentiates Microsoft SQL Server from other similar products?
The SSMS studio allows one stop panel to manage and administer the DB and its functions. The ability to graphically design views is best part of MSSQL DB features. The DB also allows simple query language to use for DB operations unlike other case-sensitive languages in other DBs.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The integration capability of DB to any third party tools is very impressive. The Database management studio comes with wide range of features to enable administrators to explicitly manage the DB operations and access management. The reporting functionality provides vast details related to DB transactions and activities for auditing purpose as well as performance monitoring aspects
What do you dislike most about this product?
There is nothing to dislike about MSSQL DB as it is full of useful features. But only the HA functionality needs to be improved for maximum availability of Database at a time.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
MS DB is the easy to use and full of features database with very effective data management capabilities. .
