The ease of use, high performance and flexibility

The lack of data virtualization options unless via third party tools.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Microsoft SQL Server is a robust product that is simple to use. It's highly customizable, has lots of functionalities and very well supported. It's one of the best SQL Servers and I'll highly recommend it.
