What differentiates Microsoft SQL Server from other similar products?

SQL Server Reporting and Analysis Services has been a tremendous help in creating and maintaining highly efficient reports and data analysis to improve business. Many other tools did not provide these results.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Just like other Microsoft products, SQL Server is by far the most user-friendly database server - the best IDE and has a lot of import, export, backup, query builder, and browser features, which anyone can easily learn and do with just a few clicks.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There is not much to comment over negatives as such. Perhaps Microsoft should look into providing built-in features/tools where developers use third-party tools and plugins. Because the built-in Execution Plan Viewer is not as great as the SentryOne Plan Explorer.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Microsoft SQL is a great tool for efficiently managing your relational data. It provides many features that will help you to generate analysis reports other than CRUD operations. It easily connects to different types of applications.

What differentiates Microsoft SQL Server from other similar products?

It's compatible for applications built in Python, .Net core, Java etc. It's easy for database access

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It's easy to use and reliable in terms of security.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It fulfill all my requirements and didn't find anything that I really dislike

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It's the best in marketplace if you are looking for database that can handle a huge amount of data. It's reliable for automatic job runs as well.

What differentiates Microsoft SQL Server from other similar products?

It is very helpful software product for storing and querying data, Comes with a user-friendly interface. It supports many transaction processing and BI engines. For example, you can connect a SQL Server database to most reporting tools to create reporting solutions for your organization.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The feature I used and liked in SQL server is activity monitoring, SQL server profiling and other features that can help me to administer the server easily.

What do you dislike most about this product?

High license cost, SQL Server Standard Edition costs $7000 per processor. Other cheap options are available in the market like MYSQL. Also, SQL Server is a windows based solution, not supported on Unix.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Cost of product is on higher side and budget is not the constraint, its a must go.
