What differentiates Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines from other similar products?

Azure functions generally regarding user friendliness for non-technical people, more remains to be wanted. It performs as intended, but I'm certain we aren't getting the maximum benefit from the software. The integration tools and deployment manager are both great. This makes it possible to maintain source code and assist safeguard software created by third parties.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The selection of services accessible is broad and configurable once you have mastered using Azure (although only for the core services they offer, other services are more cumbersome to configure). A great feature of the cost control is the ability to filter by tags applied to resources and see exactly where expenses are coming from. Creating storage accounts and virtual machines is quite simple.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Azure services are clearly the best, however since Azure does not maintain a robust alert management service and some of the resources deployed in West Europe regions have frequent outages, I think there is need for improvement in terms of health monitoring and alerting. Additionally, the cost estimator is inaccurate, and the client's fear about overspending is constant.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Yes, Azure is quick and responsive. When setting up our server, we can choose from a wide range of applications in its marketplace. Accessing the server and managing it are both very simple and straightforward. It is secure and safe. Many aspects related to big data, SQL, virtual machines, AI/ML, and other technologies are present in it.

Pros

  • Helps Innovate
  • Continually Improving Product
  • Reliable
  • Performance Enhancing

A Revolutionary VM Platform for Businesses.

What differentiates Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines from other similar products?

I enjoy using boards to post jobs and hours. I particularly enjoy how you can add your own custom categories, such as Pre-Deployment, Test Environment, UAT Environment, and others. This is incredibly helpful for us when we need to know where the software's current bugs are or whether they have previously been deployed in a particular environment.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Although there were occasionally difficulties, Microsoft Azure enabled us to swiftly deploy the infrastructure we required for our clients as well as the infrastructure for internal tools. The integrated cost management tools let us control cloud costs more effectively. Our software development projects are much more organized than they were when we originally started, and it actually saved us a tone of time.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The learning curve for Azure is marginally steep. When it comes to deploying infrastructure or cloud services, it can be overly rigid, allowing you to customize only the deployment defaults and leaving the rest up to you. For instance, configuring and deploying auto-start and auto-stop for VMs via the Portal does not always perform as intended.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The best platform for cloud computing is Azure. Some fundamental services are offered gratis by it. Several sorts of integration options, including GitHub and other private repositories from which the website's code is taken, were available during the deployment of the website on Azure. It provides simple choices for deployment and monitoring.

  • Helps Innovate
