What differentiates Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines from other similar products?

Azure VMs shine because of their tight integration with the entire Microsoft ecosystem. This makes it super easy to deploy and manage VMs alongside other Azure services we already use.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The ease and speed of deploying VMs in Azure is unbeatable. I can literally have a new server up and running in a matter of minutes, which is a huge time-saver compared to traditional on-premises deployments.

What do you dislike most about this product?

While the pay-as-you-go model is great for flexibility, it's easy to lose track of VM usage and end up with a hefty bill at the end of the month. For us here in the UAE, where cloud costs can be a bit higher, careful monitoring and resource management are crucial

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If your organization is looking for a scalable and cost-effective way to expand your IT infrastructure, Azure VMs are a great option. Just be sure to factor in well all the costs associated with running VMs, including storage, bandwidth, and licensing

What differentiates Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines from other similar products?

Azure Virtual Machines come in different sizes to fit various needs. You can adjust how much power your VMs have depending on what you need, which helps keep costs down while making sure your applications run smoothly.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Azure has data centre all over the world, so you can put your virtual machines closer to where your users are. This means your applications will run faster and be more reliable because they're closer to the people who use them.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I've noticed that sometimes the instructions in Azure's documents can be a bit confusing or incomplete. Additionally, the support options available might not always be sufficient, especially when dealing with complex issues or urgent matters.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

When setting up Azure Virtual Machines, make sure to focus on keeping everything secure. Follow the guidelines Microsoft provides for security, like using encryption, controlling who can access your network, and managing who can use the VMs. This helps keep your data and applications safe from any potential threats.
