The Net Emotional Footprint measures high-level user sentiment towards particular product offerings. It aggregates emotional response ratings for various dimensions of the vendor-client relationship and product effectiveness, creating a powerful indicator of overall user feeling toward the vendor and product.

What differentiates Meltwater from other similar products?
Meltwater includes many more features and capabilities that you would have to purchase multiple tools to compare from other solutions. Usability and the UI/UX is leagues ahead of Cision, the closest competitor in my opinion. The versatility and great reports make clients love it.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Great features, includes a wide range of capabilities.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The negotiation process was a little absurd. I think they started quoting at 20K+ per year but with just a few light pushes dropped closer to 10/12K. I think everyone would have appreciated just getting a more straightforward quote from the start.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I used Meltwater while in house at a PR firm and then advised several clients to adopt it while working as a consultant. Clients love it because of the reporting and analytics.

Best Social listening tool I have come across. Helps a lot for managing online reputation management and checking the brand recall on different social media handles and PR activities.

Competitor analysis using meltwater and build digital strategy around it.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Costly Product. Customer support can be made better.

User friendly, easy set up. Doesn’t get sentiment

What differentiates Meltwater from other similar products?
It provides a wide range of different metrics and also offers quite a lot of dashboards to visualize all the data.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Its very easy to use. Very easy to set up and you can start getting data in a couple of minutes. All the queries are the common ones so you dont need to learn any kind of special characters or words to start taking advantage of the platform. It also covers the media reporting so you can have a very reasonable picture of your brand’s reputation.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It has a lot to improve when it comes to the sentiment. It is not able to understand natural language so it won’t give an accurate view of the sentiment. It doesn’t understand complex feelings such as irony.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It is more useful for brands than for topics or conversations. Very useful for comparing brands and create benchmarks
