What differentiates MathWorks MATLAB from other similar products?

MathWorks produces mathematical computing software for engineers, scientists, mathematicians, and researchers. MATLAB, the language of technical computing, is a programming environment for algorithm development, data analysis, visualization, and numeric computation.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

In the past few years, engineers and scientists have used MathWorks products to: Improve the safety and efficiency of spacecraft docking by developing adaptive neurocontrol technology for a computer-aided, joystick control system Advance the mapping of the human genome by developing algorithms for DNA sequencing instruments Avert financial crises in emerging economies by building an econometric model to predict such crises Advance the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal tract disorders by improving visual imaging of the small intestine Test the dynamic position of ships in heavy seas using scale models of those ships in the lab

What do you dislike most about this product?

Can add more Data Science capabilities, work flows, data ingestion and cleansing, etc.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Try the demon version first and take some online courses.

What differentiates MathWorks MATLAB from other similar products?

Matlab provides me to work on the different applications which includes Model based development, Code generation and testing. I used it for Deepl learning related applications as well

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Model based designing

What do you dislike most about this product?

Sometimes application hangs while running big models

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Any Model based developer can opt Matlab as the first Preference

Range of features and capabilities.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It can do anything from running a basic code to simulating an entire physics algorithm.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It's very bulky and slow. Multiple bugs still present and lacks support for older hardware.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It's a very capable product but expect increase in response times and frequent bugs in simulation models.
