Liferay is a leader in web portals. In last few years they have added new products and features which are sometime too much for a small company

Continuous improvements of the features

Too many features which are not for everyone

Integrations with other products are going to be a pain

What differentiates Liferay Digital Experience Platform from other similar products?

It's crapper and more expensive than most other CMS platforms that deliver a similar service... so nothing other than the fact that its not great.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I quite like the way structures and templates are built but other than that its generally a hateful product.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Everything - it's slow, its expensive, its time-consuming, Steep learning curve when coaching new starters. What's there to like? The product is dismal.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Save your money and invest in something worthwhile.
