What differentiates LastPass from other similar products?

There's really not much that separates LastPass from others

The UI is very clean and easy to understand

What do you dislike most about this product?

The price is a bit steep, and with some previous breaches, it's hard to believe that the Private Equity that owns LastPass is willing to invest more in security

If this product is bundled with some other GoTo products then it might be a good option, but otherwise, there's other options

What differentiates LastPass from other similar products?

After working with LastPass in my business and my family, I found that it performs a bit less than the other password managers. It feels a bit slower and clumsy, even after fresh installations. It does not really set itself apart.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Downloading and installing goes really quick. Also, setting it up on several machines works fairly well. No logging in issues on most of the sites.

What do you dislike most about this product?

A few things could be improved, as this is in essence a good product. 1. Synchronisation does not always work the way it should. It is slow or non functional, especially on mobile phones. 2. In case of a databreach, LastPass could have worked and communicated a bit better than they did. It made us distrust the software a bit more, even though it is not always the fault of the software if they get hacked. It is how you solve it. A simple email does not always feel enough. More guides on how to save your data could be helpfull.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

You are free to test out LastPass. Always try to find if it works for you or not. Give it an honest try, as it is in itself not a bad piece of software. It is my personal experience with LastPass that made me switch, but maybe it could work for you. On a single machine (so no syncing) and a basic setup this could easily work well for you. Other than that, also try out 2 or 3 more password managers to see which one suits you best.

What differentiates LastPass from other similar products?

It's a great password manager program that creates, remembers, and fills in passwords for anyone. When I initially enter into an online account, LastPass saves my username and password so that they are automatically filled in the next time I visit. According to my experience, it's appealing software for security assurance.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

LastPass is a fantastic idea, and I've been using it for several years with no problems. In my opinion, it is a safe password manager that allows us to store and manage multiple passwords and other account information. I appreciate how it encrypts saved login information and can automatically insert it into forms for us, while also assisting us in preventing cyber assaults.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The first setup may be a little difficult. I occasionally have to launch the LastPass app, copy my password from the manager, then paste it into the app because the mobile app doesn't always work correctly with all apps. For a number of devices, it was once free, but they now charge for this feature.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Totally recommended! Anyone can generate lengthy, unique passwords with LastPass, store them, and use them without having to remember them. LastPass is affordable, safe, and offers more extra features than most of its rivals. LastPass employs a variety of two-factor authentication 2FA solutions in addition to biometric logins to guarantee the security of all user data.
