What differentiates LastPass Password Management from other similar products?

There are a large number of programs and applications on the market with the same mission of protecting all your passwords in the cloud, but our experience together with LastPass has been a success due to the number of its functions and the security it has given us since it was launched. we put to the test, this program gives us the possibility of creating and saving each of the secure notes and credentials for different types of information, such as each of the most personal and important data of my work or my personal life.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

LastPass uses its intelligence to search for the most effective password bundle solutions, one of these functions is to randomly generate new passwords daily for each of the accounts and platforms on the web and at the same time save each of them in a vault that only the corresponding user will be able to see, I am also pleased to know that once the password is changed it will be synchronized with each of the devices that the user has to give them the possibility of having full control and access to each one of your accounts, I love this program because it is really smart to detect all hacking attacks that threaten my accounts.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I have noticed that the program is not at all compatible with cryptocurrency accounts and PayPal for those premium payment accounts, this has disappointed me a bit since I would like it to also have the power to develop with these accounts in the future, on the other hand, I have to highlight the bad technical support service of this program, it is not good at all.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

LastPass is the most reliable password management and protection program we've had, since we've had difficulties with other similar programs, but thanks to the help of LastPass we haven't had any other type of problem, I recommend it for the credibility it has had so far.

There's really not much that separates LastPass from others

The UI is very clean and easy to understand

What do you dislike most about this product?

The price is a bit steep, and with some previous breaches, it's hard to believe that the Private Equity that owns LastPass is willing to invest more in security

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If this product is bundled with some other GoTo products then it might be a good option, but otherwise, there's other options

What differentiates LastPass Password Management from other similar products?

After working with LastPass in my business and my family, I found that it performs a bit less than the other password managers. It feels a bit slower and clumsy, even after fresh installations. It does not really set itself apart.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Downloading and installing goes really quick. Also, setting it up on several machines works fairly well. No logging in issues on most of the sites.

What do you dislike most about this product?

A few things could be improved, as this is in essence a good product. 1. Synchronisation does not always work the way it should. It is slow or non functional, especially on mobile phones. 2. In case of a databreach, LastPass could have worked and communicated a bit better than they did. It made us distrust the software a bit more, even though it is not always the fault of the software if they get hacked. It is how you solve it. A simple email does not always feel enough. More guides on how to save your data could be helpfull.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

You are free to test out LastPass. Always try to find if it works for you or not. Give it an honest try, as it is in itself not a bad piece of software. It is my personal experience with LastPass that made me switch, but maybe it could work for you. On a single machine (so no syncing) and a basic setup this could easily work well for you. Other than that, also try out 2 or 3 more password managers to see which one suits you best.
