Kaseya VSA - A Good Cloud RMM Solution

What differentiates Kaseya VSA from other similar products?
The other RMM products out there, from the interface point of view, just do not look serious. When I say that, their interfaces are clunky, and many times only provide rudimentary tools. The VSA provides a solid interface, and one that looks like an RMM control panel.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Remote control is the best part. I spend nearly all my time using it, and the file transfer capabilities are friendly to use, and rarely fail.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The interface, while better looking than others, really is dated and has not changed much. I think it's due an update.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Be prepared to pay for it. It is not cheap, but once you get the VSA up and going, you are going to have a solid RMM solution, great reporting, and the most powerful tools for endpoint management.

Great product with wide breadth of features

What differentiates Kaseya VSA from other similar products?
Kaseya does a great job as an RMM tool. It directly competes with ConnectWise Automate and AutoTask mainly. Kaseya sits firmly in the middle but is priced properly for the market.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Full fledged software chock full of features and customizability. Has all tools that one would expect from an RMM tool and it works well.
What do you dislike most about this product?
At times some of the features can be a bit clunky. Newer versions of VSA resolve issues well, so patches do help out. Remote connections can be a bit slow to initiate at times.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Weigh all of the options and consider your deal killers, watch demos and try to get a hands on test to verify against your needs. Most RMM tools have very similar features for basic needs.

What differentiates Kaseya VSA from other similar products?
Kaseya provides a high level of automation through agent procedures and policies. There is a high degree of integration with PSA and documentation products to increase technical staff efficiency.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite feature is LiveConnect which lets me monitor, troubleshoot and remotely work on client's endpoints while they are using that endpoint.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Because of all of the features, this is a big and at times complicated application. The learning curve to effectively master the features that create efficiency can take some time. And, like most products, the documentation does not match the actual product.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
The way to justify the cost of this application is to implement the automation it provides. Prepare to invest a significant amount of time to learn how to use this effectively.
