What differentiates Jira from other similar products?
It is very customizable hence it is able to adjust to our needs, making it easy to manage projects.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Reports and insights ensure that our team is up to date, by providing critical insights than make us plan smarter. Roadmaps have helped our team to stay organized, make quick decisions, making us to achieve company goals.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It is a bit complex making it difficult to understand which can be quite frustrating
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
They should give it a try. It is easy to use, flexible and has robust features which make it very efficient.

Jira keeps us organized and focused on the job

What differentiates Jira from other similar products?
We all use this software as the main organizer of our company's projects and tasks. It keeps us on top of the tasks that have been assigned to us and sends us an alert both to the program on the web version, mobile and email. Workflow is easily created and it is very easy to assign each activity to each team member and leave comments on each activity.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The most recent update, with its mobile version, is one of jira's greatest achievements. I like that it is a very visual software, so I can easily see my progress on the project, how far ahead or behind I am with my tasks. Its reports are very complete, I get all the information I need, without the need to add anything else.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I find that the software is quite easy to use, although the updates modify and change the location of some tools, which makes me have to re-invest time in getting to know the new structure of the program. Being able to import to the platform some Excel documents has been impossible for me, so I have to add the information manually.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
We recommend this program 100% because it has helped us to focus more on the activities we perform, keep up with the assignments and get our projects executed without delays. This software is perfect for any type of company and no matter if your employees are remote or not.

And because Jira is cloud-based, it's often a cost-effective solution that frees users from the responsibility of worrying about servers, storage or maintenance.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Jira is ideal for software teams with its feature set and integration capabilities needed for agile and effective software development. Jira users can leverage other products such as Jira Service Desk, now known as Service Management for incident, problem and change management. A team with simpler needs can try Jira Core, which is a simplified project management tool that can help a team introduce Jira capabilities to the organization.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The browser must be refreshed manually to see new tickets, which can confuse things when multiple people in a meeting are creating tickets frequently. The interface in some smaller parts of the software is sometimes difficult to understand.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
This is an ideal tool for teams using iterative approaches. A team can optimize Jira's issue tracking functionality using custom screens, custom fields and workflows to handle both manual and automated testing; it is applicable to a variety of project types. Its project templates can help a small team get a project started quickly. Users can quickly customize a template to fit a unique team workflow.
