Efficient and easy to use software.

What differentiates Jira from other similar products?

Jira is used for simple project management and problem tracking. The advantages include the convenience of monitoring work across project developers and the ability to have a backlog of future work to assess. We can also document changes and produce batches for upgrades, change requests, upgrades, or issues. New bugs or modifications may be tracked, assigned, resolved and closed with ease.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Jira accomplishes the basic things better it provides a beautiful picture of the sprint's assigned stories/tasks and I can also see what other team members are working on, ensuring that I am aware of all the project's current work Jira is the greatest bug tracking solution for agile software development teams, since it helps them plan, monitor, and deploy products. Tasks are simple to navigate, assign, and remind you of on a regular basis you may also create email lists for all of the bugs that are assigned to you on a daily basis.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Jira website might be sluggish at times. The sophisticated stuff is insanely complicated for example, project settings for state transitions. Jira can occasionally reject a task when you move it to a new state in the storyboard for no obvious reason, forcing you to redo it. One aspect of the user interface that I dislike is that if you click on a specific problem description, you will be sent to edit mode, where you may lose data if you aren't cautious. It may also take some getting accustomed to for someone new to Jira because the navigation might be challenging.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Don't make Jira any more difficult than it has to be, for 99 percent of projects, a simple project flow is sufficient, state transitions that are overly complicated might cause issues. There are several issue tracking programs available but Jira is the most collaborative, with a wonderful user interface and numerous built-in plugins.

Pros

  • Continually Improving Product

Makes project management easier.

What differentiates Jira from other similar products?

When the team size was larger, tracking progress was more difficult. Jira assists me in streamlining the tracking process when there is a large team engaged. Another issue I was having was sharing the progress report in a clear and succinct manner that was easier for a non-technical person to understand. Jira provided a solution as well. We use Jira to manage our team's tasks and projects, schedule sprints and milestones, classify tickets based on priority and category, and manage workflows. This has immensely assisted our team by allowing us to track our progress and appropriately distribute work among team members.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Jira support for custom fields, task kinds, filtering options, swimlanes, and sprint organization approaches is fantastic. I also like how custom swimlanes can be used to denote which phase of a development workflow a specific ticket belongs to. Advanced search and filtering are also highly valued. It is impressive how quickly search results are supplied. Another appealing feature is the option to customize the dashboard and show content in a variety of ways. I really appreciate the pie chart and bar chart views.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I'm not particularly grateful that Jira can be a bit tricky for new users to understand. However, given the many options available to Jira users, it's virtually impossible to get around this. Variants of the mobile Jira app require special attention. This app is not user friendly and often crashes when you try different operations. The documentation part needs improvement. It can be a little difficult to understand how some functions work. I feel that Jira was designed primarily for cloud-based solutions.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you need a complete way to organize a large project, I definitely suggest Jira. If you're upgrading from outdated tracking software, be ready for fantastic Jira features. Jira isn't cheap, so be sure you get your money's worth. Train your team to get the most out of Jira.

Pros

  • Continually Improving Product
  • Performance Enhancing
  • Enables Productivity
  • Trustworthy

JIRA Atlassian for Agile Project- task management

Likeliness to Recommend

9 /10

What differentiates Jira from other similar products?

- Jira is best suitable for advance Agile implementation and management. - Jira allows some add-ons and plugins compare to other project management tools. - Jira support real time release planning and other life cycle of product and agile so which provide clear understanding of process. - Provided charts and other features like Kanban and scrum board including bug management.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

-> Task management and task life cycle well managed having agile and Kannan boards. -> Reports and charts for Sprint -> Drag and drop facilities for task to manage task cycle from to do to on build and done etc. -> Third party software integration like git, bit bucket so you can create branch directly.

What do you dislike most about this product?

- As of now I like all features of Jira but one thing I don't like is customisable things for life cycle management, so different organisation uses different like cycle for task and story some are using todo, in build and done and some organisation uses more like in QA, QA, done etc. so its not same for all so sometimes if user is new then its hard for him/her to manage task.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

-> Just need basic understanding of Agile methodologies. -> little bit knowledge of JIRA task management terms and terminologies.

Pros

  • Performance Enhancing
  • Inspires Innovation
  • Security Protects
