Great features but does require personalization

What differentiates Jira from other similar products?
JIRA syncs well with all Atlassian products. At our organization we heavily utilize Confluence for process documentation and JIRA for ticket management across various departments.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
JIRA simplifies day-to-day task management by making it easy to assign a task to a specific person or a team. Internal collaboration improves drastically because of JIRA and helps with record-keeping for compliance and underwriting purposes which is an essential feature in the banking industry.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There should be an option for end users to manage the notifications on their email. This control is only provided to the IT / Admin for JIRA and they are unable to set this according to each individual's preference.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Ensure you set it up correctly across all departments. JIRA is tremendous value for money but only if it is utilized efficiently across all cross-functional teams.

What differentiates Jira from other similar products?
Jira Software is a versatile project management and issue tracking tool developed by Atlassian. Which offers custom workflows and agile project management support, powerful issue tracking, extensive integration capabilities.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Favourite aspect is issue tracking and the integration with the other Atlassian suite of application.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The disliked part is regarding user management. There should be a feature to export the list of users, which is not available in the Server and Datacentre version but available in Cloud version.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Choose the Cloud version which provides more features and Atlassian will take care of all the upgraded and other security related issues.

What differentiates Jira from other similar products?
It's highly customizable and the integration with other software is very good.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It's customizability and integration with other software. I also appreciate the Devops support. JIRA can be used for a large group of people, across teams with ease.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It takes a little time to understand JIRA. Plus, it's other bundled offering i.e. Confluence is not at all a good platform to store documents.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Only implement it if the use is for a long term purpose at enterprise level, because the license cost and cost of training will be high. But the product is very dependable.
