What differentiates Jira from other similar products?

It is built for developers and also IT professionals mainly. It tried to help support ITIL practices but still feels geared toward the mid size market

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I love the layout and the ability to automate things. It is every fast interface and makes pasting code or image very simple, so the team really enjoys interacting with it

What do you dislike most about this product?

It can be a bit complex and overwhelming starting off. Often times making a change can be a complex task because of how everything is so loosely coupled from the front end point of view which drives up complexity

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would say take your time reading and setting it up well from the start, overall its a great product on a great path

What differentiates Jira from other similar products?

Jira is a Project Management software which provides easy customizable dashboards and easy issue tracking with a flowless UI making it more interactive in comparison to other software's that work with agile methodologies.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The absolute best about Jira is its Project planning and operations cycle. It lets you easily track a progress of a issue with status availability. With customizable dashboards you can allocate and train your team as per the project requirement which is not just easy to use but also very feasible. With features such as time tracking and timesheet, it also debunks the idea of a different software being used for the same task. Also the filter option is a must to easily track and excel out the data in form of CSV to keep track of Team's progress.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Sometimes the notification do not appear on the analyst dashboard. With more filters it acts out automatically making a change in a case, if you happen to be haphazard with the process or neglectful it can make a issue progress change which can be an issue on a later stage. The mobile application lacks some feature such as uploading and downloading files straight from the issue itself and only limited features are available compared to the web version of Jira..

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Its a must software if you get a lot of projects simultaneously with different project requirements and needs to keep track of issues easily. With case prioritization. its hard to mess up on the client deliverables.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

So customizable.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I do not like it when it when down on 4/6/22. When Jira went down our whole IT dept came to a halt for 3+ days. We are still not online. Love the product dont love it when it goes offline.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Be willing in invest some time in customization for your use case.
