What differentiates Informatica Master Data Management from other similar products?

The best thing which differentiates informatica MDM is, how easy it is to configure the source and targets on the system. The other thing, informatica mdm is easy to learn as compare to others. Informatica provides very good and most important stable product for master data management.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The configuration part of informatica MDM is my favourite aspect as configuring landing, staging, Base objects, mappings etc are so easy and smooth. The other aspect is matching and merging feature.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The only dislike is its speed of performance, sometimes it takes alot of time to perform a small task.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I will definitely recommend this product to someone who is looking for data management tool.

What differentiates Informatica Master Data Management from other similar products?

MDM is a proven master data management technology that leverages a platform approach. Unlike other MDM applications with fixed data models where you have to begin with one domain such as, customer or product, Informatica MDM is comparatively flexible

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The most valuable feature of Informatica MDM is hierarchy management. It's not something that's typically available and effective within ERPs.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Rest API Performance is not consistent- Hosted environment performance tuning- Support is lame sometime. The new workflow ActiveVos is not ready for use in large companies.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Strong MDM hub configurability. ETL, PowerCenter, Data Quality is strong and flexible.
