What differentiates Informatica Data Integration & Engineering  from other similar products?

Great tools with effective capabilities which enables the quick data and big files transfer across Cloud services and effective tools for reporting.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The master data management platform that offers extreme functions for big project documentation, and reliable real time data analytics creation.

What do you dislike most about this product?

No much to dislike on this functional and easy platform, but managing complex data across multiple Cloud platforms is tricky to new users.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Big data manipulation and data preparation capabilities are great and easy access control and asset management tools are also amazing.

Informatica Data Preparation has tightly integrated with its Data Integration and Metadata management suite. We can customize the scorecards and serve the business users accordingly.

Data lineage,Data profiling

What do you dislike most about this product?

Features are good but it provides less customization with other data products or programming languages to automate.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Compare with other open source products , assess the business needs and cost before considering Informatica as a product.

What differentiates Informatica Data Integration & Engineering  from other similar products?

Informatica has very intuitive user interface and very well built with a lot of data connectors. I think the inbuilt pallet is unique and the fact that you can connect data to a lot of sources immediately is amazing.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

User interface, connectors to all major applications and inbuilt modules and functionality to transform data

What do you dislike most about this product?

Documentation is poor, support and forums and not well organised at all.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It is an amazing product and does the job. The skill level to learn the product is also very minimal. I have used operations teams to help out on the project.
