What differentiates IBM Security QRadar SOAR from other similar products?

It is a reliable and safe option when it comes to detecting threats and providing remedial solutions. It allows efficient risk mitigation. Integration with external threats is seamless. It is liked by customers. With the help of AI, it detects threats immediately. The network is available all the time the user interface is simple. The availability of this software is affordable.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The protection against server attacks is very effective. The detection of ransom is excellent which attracts the users. Multiple log sources can be added successfully. Moreover, it allows understanding of the reason for trigger offense. Users’ are satisfied with the performance of this tool. The interface is user-friendly.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The version is poor as it sustains bugs, which causes inefficiencies. The licensing model is complex. The lack of tutorials makes it difficult for the users to understand. Multiple rules cannot be edited at once. Due to lack of knowledge, it is considered complicated for beginners. It does not offer a free trial.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The licensing model needs to be simplified. More tutorials should be added for the understanding of the user so that they can better comprehend. More up-gradation for editing should be introduced. A free trial should be offered, it will attract the users and allow them to get familiar with the features.

What differentiates IBM Security QRadar SOAR from other similar products?

Triage and contextual intelligence is automated while conducting threat intelligence and it's at very high speeds. IBM QRadar is also unique because it offers an open architecture, allowing us to run deployments both on cloud and on premises depending with the environment. My team and I has grown to love Qradar because of the top analytics it delivers to help us handle confidently the most critical of threats.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The IBM QRadar NDR is able to detect very hidden threats on our systems. We facilitate trading of digital assets on our websites, by providing our traders with powerful trade tokens which makes us quite vulnerable to all kinds of cyber attacks. Now with IBM Security QRadar, we have a full scope of the threats on our systems and neutralize them instantly.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There is a lag from IBM in terms of version control - bugs! As the team lead in cyber security, I find the licensing model quite complex.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

IBM Security QRadar is like a single pane of glass for you to view security threats on your networks and take action. As a SIEM, it has plenty of complexities but I would suggest enrolling in SIEM training before taking up the solution.
