What differentiates HYPE Innovation from other similar products?

Hype provides a great standard for the idea/innovation process that can be adapted to individual requirements. The colleagues at Hype and also the customer community of innovation managers is very beneficial for our team, as we could and can learn a lot here.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

We like many features but the most helpful for us is the possibility of running campaigns, including collaboration, moderation and communication. The software offers many great opportunities to gather the expertise and opinion of the community, be it through comments, likes, votes and automatic upgrading of ideas that receive particularly high attention. Also the idea evaluation, which can be set very individually, is very helpful for us.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The possibility of different language settings is currently not yet ideally solved for the end user (changing the language, translations, etc.). In addition, the authorization model occasionally poses a challenge for larger complex organizations with decentralized structures.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you want to implement a digitalized idea and innovation process with a focus on collaboration and transparency, Hype is the right choice for you.

Hype has always focused on the entire innovation ecosystem where other vendors often focus on things like idea collection. With Hype you align with your institutional strategy, run "idea" campaigns, collect and build on ideas, and turn those ideas into impact. Hype's solution is highly configurable and can be used to solve operational issues, innovate around new products or solutions, find expertise, test concepts, gather feedback, and many other use cases. When you couple that breadth of use with a company focused on bringing new features and functionality to market, you get a solution set that can evolve with you.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The breadth of use cases that can be met without the need for customization. Hype's solution is exceptionally configurable allowing it to use in collaborative problem solving in one campaign where every idea and comment are attributed to the submitter while simultaneously running a confidential campaign that allows people to discuss how the institution can support them better during the pandemic. Also, unique to Hype, is the collaborative nature of Hype's hundreds of corporate and non-profit clients. Hype brings us together to share challenges and successes with the platform and with regards to innovation management as a whole.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There are no components or features that we dislike. We would like to have a bit more on demand/online training for advanced users year over year. That being said, the training provided as you implement is fantastic as is feature specific training.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Anyone considering Hype should consider what they want to achieve with an innovation/collaboration management solution and what you want from your supplier. If you want impact from your software, then you need to be able to manage the full life cycle of an idea from generation to implementation to impact. Really dig into what is being offered by the suppliers you are talking to, Hype delivers. Also, do you want your supplier to be a partner in your success, sharing best practices, introducing you to a network of people/companies that are open to sharing lessons learned and best practices. If yes, Hype is second to none.

It is a tool that allows you to collect project ideas and innovate, customize and adapt them to the process of each company, analyzing the proposals from different angles to have greater performance and performance.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

This software allows each company for its employees to have greater communication through their personal opinions, it offers us a benefit since each user provides and proposes projects through meetings and the platform helps to analyze it through surveys.

What do you dislike most about this product?

So far we have not had any problems with this platform, it has given us the tools to create collaborations and projects from scratch, maintaining order and classifying every detail of the proposal, allowing us to identify the advantages and disadvantages, including having the budget, the resources and materials.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

One of the reasons why we recommend this software is that it allows you to save more time to establish ideas and raise them since the same employees help through their personal opinion and according to their experience, it is a tool that has a fairly accessible cost for both small and medium businesses.
