What differentiates Gusto from other similar products?
It is a good low-cost software for payroll. They focus their efforts on medium to large companies. We have saved money by switching to Gusto, it offers reasonable service fees. Not having to write checks and the additional accounting that would be involved with uncashed and lost checks, They have very capable customer service, they helped us get things done faster. very happy with the service they offer you.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The software helped us with the speed of completing jobs and with the employee roster, to hire new staff on time. It gives us a great advantage in not having a lot of accounting knowledge and also helps us with fiscal requirements, both monthly and quarterly as well as when we need access from our cell phone. Gusto sends reminder emails when it is time to run payroll or a new hire has not completed their onboarding.
What do you dislike most about this product?
After a year of use, it became slow. Sometimes you have to refresh it and wait about 15-20 minutes. Would be excellent lower prices for the time clock feature. Getting customers to use the integrated time clock can be a challenge, and creates unnecessary hassle. It should be included in the base rate and the reporting part is the weakest part of the platform and needs a lot of work.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
We recommend Gusto many times over time. Gusto may not be scalable enough for larger organizations at some point, but we haven't experimented with it because if you need any payroll services, Gusto is easy to use and takes care of all the difficult things that a small business owner doesn't have time to do and having to have an accountant at an additional expense.

What differentiates Gusto from other similar products?
I cant say exactly because I have never used a payroll service before. However, in doing research for a payroll provider, Gusto clearly came out on top in terms of features and costs. The ease of use has been exceptional in our business!
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Ease of use. I had never touched a payroll platform prior to Gusto and let me tell you, I was intimidated. These are peoples paychecks we're talking about! State and federal taxes! And a whole lot more. Gusto made it completely easy to set up from start to finish. They even take care of filing new hire reports, and submitting quarterly tax documents. The user interface is incredibly intuitive and simple to use. I would recommend Gusto for any employer looking to set up payroll!
What do you dislike most about this product?
Can't say there is anything I dislike so far. We have used it since the beginning of 2022 and each time, payroll has gone off without so much as a hiccup.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Gusto integrates with so many other platforms and services, it really does deserve a second look. While it may not be as known in payroll as highly as ADP or other giants, it really has made a name for itself and is user-friendly. Both for the employee and the employer. Everything is self-explanatory and there are walkthroughs for everything. Again, I have to reiterate that I have NEVER used a payroll service before this year. I was intimidated and nervous I was going to mess up. Not once have I had to reach out to Customer Support for help. It really is just that easy.

Gusto: we do payroll quickly and error-free

What differentiates Gusto from other similar products?
Since we have had this software in our payroll department, the calculation of payroll, employees' working hours and everything related to their work, we do it in a fast, orderly and error-free way thanks to its tools. It is a very easy to use program and has made our work much easier.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It has an employee portal tool, where we have in an organized way the information of each employee of the company. The tracking of vacation time and absences of employees and weekly hours, allows calculations and payments are accurate and error-free.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I can't remember anything serious happening with this software. If I have to complain about something, it would be that on one occasion the system crashed, so that it had to be uninstalled and installed again, but we had the help of the technical service and they advised us to install it correctly.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Gusto is one of the most complete software for payroll management that we have used and with a great help management for the payment of insurance and benefits for workers. Very easy to use, with a very friendly interface where we found it easy to navigate.
