What differentiates Google Authenticator from other similar products?
There are multiple capabilities of Google Authenticator which differentiate it from other similar products, like simplicity, ability to work offline once its set up done, Smooth integration with other Google ecosystem and It is not required to create account just scan the QR and can start using it unlike other competitors.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I love the most in it is Its simplicity and Offline functionality, it doesn't rely on network connections so it can work quickly and efficiently also privacy friendly.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Google Authenticator have a actual drawback is its lack of backup option. If you are changing your device or lost it, All your stored authentication will be lost which can be a big problem if you don't have any alternative recovery method for each account. The lack of backup can be frustrating and have potential issues.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you are considering Google Authenticator so here are few - Since it doesn't have backup option so You must have a plan of transferring your code to a new device, Use Authenticator as a dedicated device, you can get rid of data lost by doing regular backup like alternative phone or email on an individual account.
