What differentiates GoCardless from other similar products?

The simplicity with which I can get clients to simply pay their invoices. It is simple and transparent for them. It stops mistakes in payments. The fees are fair. I get paid on time. Great!

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My clients don't have to think about paying me - it just happens.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The web interface is a bit confusing, but I rarely have to go in there. When a client changes their bank account it can be difficult to connect the direct debit to their new account.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Do it! Make sure that it integrates with your accounting system to give you a seamless experience.

What differentiates GoCardless from other similar products?

The ability to easily collect payments from client bank accounts in local currencies, on the due date, without expensive card fees or manual overhead.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I love ow GoCardless automatically matches each payment to the relevant invoice in Xero. No reconciliation required. It just quietly and easily completes invoice payments on time every time.

What do you dislike most about this product?

When a customer wants to change which bank account is being used for payments, the process to cancel the existing mandate and create a new one is manual and inelegant, compared with the rest of the product experience.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Pair iGoCardless with Wise (formerly TransferWise) to accept payments in USD, CAD, AUD, NZD, EUR and GBP and natively receive each into Wise Borderless accounts with no currency conversion. Also if you use Xero, definitely integrate GoCardless for Xero too. It's auto-magic.
