What differentiates GitLab Ultimate from other similar products?
GitLab is an all-in-one, diverse DevSecOps software. It inserts security testing tools into the CI/CD workflow, eradicating the necessity of involving external sources to build, deploy, and test applications, thus reducing the overall complexity of the process. It also offers various AST techniques such as SAST, DAST, etc natively, which otherwise needs multiple tools in other similar products.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
One of the standout features is that it is capable of integrating testing tools into the CI/CD pipeline. In this way, we don’t have to leave our testing environment to perform Static Application Security Testing, or other such scanning functions. Its first-developer methodology for security reduces the cost of fixing the lifecycle of developments by early identifying and resolving vulnerabilities at the coding phase.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Its resource-intensive security scanning slows down the CI/CD workflow when dealing with large projects such as during SAST and Container Scanning. This scenario highly impacts the productivity of our developers in case of delayed pipelines frequently.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I recommend that one who considers it to adopt as a security or for other particular uses first evaluate its utilization and ensure that whether you or your team is capable enough to justify its highly advanced features or not.

GitLab ultimate give us all-in-one DevOps platform that seamlessly integrates the entire software development lifecycle. Customer support is wonderful. It reduce compliance risk by giving the security.
What do you dislike most about this product?
As such didn't see any draw back its very streamline product.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If any industries need all in one solution in one platform than GITLAB highly recommended. It resolves all the security issue very quickly & effectively. GitLab Provide DevSecOps all in one solution.
