What differentiates Freehand from other similar products?

We are developing new efforts for our acquisition and growth funnels. We also attempt to improve the experience of our members by satisfying their demands and certifying them through usability assessments. That's where a product like InVision's prototyping capability comes in. I build high-tech templates to communicate the future of items to potential buyers and those who are interested. This manner, I may avoid the responsibility of having a completed project and begin working on a model right away. We may also use this tool to generate a broad range of really beautiful designs. My clients are now lot more interested in sharing prototypes.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It is a simple real-time alignment tool that can be used to match design feedback, functionality, and communication with any engineering partner. It's certainly one of the most important tools we have for ensuring that we construct what we design. I like how simple it is to make hotspots using this tool and want to move all of my ideas and drawings to InVision. It's also simple to add notes/comments to the screens I wish to enhance, which aids in determining what I'm doing incorrectly. It increases commercial chances by making the organization appear more attractive and sophisticated. Anything may be adjusted to match your specific needs.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Some of the plugins might be strange. The artisan plugin is hit-or-miss for me, especially when it tries to update itself. It will occasionally "fall out of sync" and must be re-integrated. Uploading files is also a huge challenge. The interface has a graphical user interface that is both unpleasant and difficult to navigate. It's also rather sluggish the most of the time. Most candidates have difficulty deciding whether or not to add them.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Despite the fact that I wish there were examples and lessons on how to properly configure the design system for effective usage in companies, I can claim that this tool is one of the finest for sharing thoughts. InVision offers a lot of promise for producing commercial outcomes. I recommend uploading huge files manually whenever possible. InVision is without a doubt the greatest way to trade in a number of company areas.

Pros

  • Continually Improving Product
  • Performance Enhancing
  • Enables Productivity
  • Efficient Service

What differentiates Freehand from other similar products?

For most projects, we utilize InVision to design and validate application schematics prior to development, as well as to receive client input and approval. With its extensive design tools and team collaboration capabilities, InVision makes our life easier. Share prototypes with stakeholders and consumers to get immediate, actionable feedback on new designs we're working on, we recognized the need of receiving design feedback fast so that we could make changes and begin development as soon as feasible.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I enjoy the design prototyping feature. At my firm, we use this tool all the time to construct prototypes, share them with multiple stakeholders, collect comments, and answer questions live on the prototype. Because Invision is so simple to use, any department can immediately absorb a new design and provide input. InVision excels in several areas, including cooperation with people, alternative templates, improved user experience, the ability to offer or receive feedback fast, and so on.

What do you dislike most about this product?

InVision provides an excellent range of capabilities for a collaborative design tool, so there's not much to complain about. The sole constraint is the capacity to share beyond the corporation, and allowing other stakeholders to contribute is challenging due to licensing limits. However, in my present employment, I just use Invision to examine design prototypes and offer comments; for this use case, it is ideal.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I strongly advise you to utilize this tool for any design prototypes. Send the prototypes to potential clients and interested parties for feedback. I would suggest InVision to anyone working in engineering design or software development since it offers numerous capabilities that can help you speed up your design and validation work.

A second thought attached to a prototyping tool

Likeliness to Recommend

What differentiates Freehand from other similar products?

Freehand is really great for sticky notes and that is about it, otherwise it lacks the more in-depth features of others. It is commonly used only because of it's connection to the prototyping tool.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It connects well to it's prototyping tool, that's it. Great for product feedback, but not for overall white-board collaboration.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It lacks the better features in things like Miro or Bluescape

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you are not using InVision for your prototyping, there are better alternatives.

  • Performance Enhancing
  • Helps Innovate
