What differentiates Fortinet Fortigate NGFW from other similar products?
With Unified Threat Management (UTM), many elements have been integrated that fight against all kinds of woes. This software contains a series of corrective agents and attack prevention and retention agents that can be managed appropriately. Protects against intruders, it includes a first-line antivirus and a web application firewall, which gives us first-class protection with simplified administration and complete reports. It is straightforward to manage IP policy and content filters for any communication protocol.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
In my organization, I solve problems of slowness or difficulty of the content block by categories and stability in other resources, such as the ease of configuring and using client VPN. FortiGate facilitated the administration of web permissions by users associated with an active directory.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Sometimes it can become challenging to block content from a website with web filtering because web pages contain websites that consume other resources. Administration on a mobile device is very complicated, it does not adapt to the screen of smartphones or tablets, and the option of FortiExplore has an additional cost in online stores.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I recommend the tool to everyone if you need to have a unified security control in your company. It contains all the necessary tools to perform as a good insurer of your network and to know the operational risks. It is very easy to manage your web administration is very friendly and allows you to understand everything easily. Firmware updates are costly and easy to manage.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Can integrate to Active Directory without any implication or risk Easy to troubleshoot Lightweight for desktop app Globally community supported A lot of material that can help you troubleshoot and optimize the settings.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Things that I don`t like about this app are when it wasn`t able to detect the gateway address, something crushing its own, and WLAN configuration changes.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you`re looking for VPN? Get this application as stated above, you won't found it difficult to use and manage

What differentiates Fortinet Fortigate NGFW from other similar products?
For the UTM, there was a web-based administration interface that was straightforward to use without any knowledge. But the configuration of the CLI terminal is necessary in order to do a full job. The installation of a WiFi network allowed for the removal of cables and plants, as well as the reduction of costs.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
With Fort WiFi 60D, FortiGate is used. Since the FortiGate 60D has a WiFi network, Fortinet (stability, security) comes into play. I was certain that the FortiGate procedure could be managed well, but I was wrong. We were able to save money by purchasing only the features we needed.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The settings panel, in my opinion, is a bit difficult to understand. As with most network-related applications, the text is quite small. As a result, I'm a little disappointed in some of the subtleties.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
For example, you may build a wireless network using FortiGate by purchasing only the licenses you need. Cost-effectiveness comes from being able to choose and choose the most critical characteristics such as UTM while creating an environment. We don't need to reboot the system because it's been working fine for a long time without any problems. It was recommended for purchase by an Internet firm. Administrators may easily access the system through the web (networking skills required). The router's and firewall's functions are perfect.
