What differentiates Fortinet Fortigate NGFW from other similar products?

Fortinet Firewall has some features, which are not exist in other vendors. For example, SSL VPN in CheckPoint(May be in new versions of operation systems they have added, but I don't have information about).

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Possibility to configure security features like you need it. Very easy to understand GUI (But I dont like GUI design, for example colors of pillars)

What do you dislike most about this product?

As I have mentioned it several times in this review it's a GUI Design

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Depend of size of your organization you can choose different security devices and it's very kind. You also can find many courses which improve your knowledge which will hep you to administrate this product.

What differentiates Fortinet Fortigate NGFW from other similar products?

Fortinet Firewall Platform differs from other software because it gives the user a simple implementation and integration, its graphical interface is very well designed so that any user may be able to understand it in advance, it offers a firewall full of very complete functions in the one that the user can protect his business network through the large-scale traffic inspection offered by said software, being the same executed at an extremely acceptable speed and performance, all this leads to obtaining only legitimate traffic and counting always with a business structure without inactivity, in addition to integrating with other Fortinet products such as FortiGuard and FortiSandbox, they ensure a more powerful protection including zero day threats.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect is how simple it is to carry out its integration with other Fortinet software, because performing this process guarantees maximum protection, since unknown threats or zero day threats do not go unnoticed, it is possible to have a performance that adjusts to the needs of users and obtain a much more stable and scalable business security management with this software, in addition to its easy use and implementation, it guarantees time savings that are used to continue business productivity.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Its initial configuration can give work especially for users with very little knowledge of this type of software, however once this stage is passed everything is much easier.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Fortinet firewall platform offers devices that are adjusted to the needs of each company, so if you want optimal and efficient operation, educating yourself on what you really need is of great help because having the correct device is having a free business network and infrastructure of an illegitimate traffic.
