What differentiates Fortinet Fortigate NGFW from other similar products?

Fortinet Firewalls differ from others because they have an easy-to-configure interface, their installation is quick because their process does not take too long, they provide high performance and low latency, they are capable of carrying out high-speed inspections of network traffic , the one that enters and leaves so that the business network is only managed by means of legitimate traffic and at the same time a pleasant and non degraded user experience can be counted on, they can be integrated with other Fortinet software, as well as solutions third-party security in a multi vendor environment.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

What is most attractive to me is that by integrating with software such as FortiGuard and FortiSandbox, which are powered by artificial intelligence, they allow protection against known and zero day threats and also an improvement in operational efficiency is obtained through their integration. With Fabric Management Center, on the other hand, its secure socket layer inspection, web filtering, and IPS grant total visibility and protect any edge, all of which makes it possible to obtain a high performance business network.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Its configuration can be somewhat complex if it is about users who have never interacted with this type of spftware so it is best to go to their support team, also in the presence of any problem solving the process is not very easy.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Your perception of its interface can be at first glance something that will be easy, but if you want to use the software for something more advanced it becomes somewhat more complex, so it is important to have knowledge of this type of software.
