What differentiates Forecast from other similar products?

Forecast combines the strengths of a decent project management platform with the practical realities of managing commercial relationships for a professional services firm. We moved from a separate project management platform, time tracking platform, resource management platform, and invoicing platform into Forecast. We particularly like the way resources and projects are planned and managed. We have not found a similar comprehensive solution at this price point. Many of the other comprehensive solutions we considered were also built on an older tech stack and suffered from technical debt.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

We really appreciate how rapidly the product is evolving, and how much care the product team is taking when listening to our feedback. We are a relatively new customer and we have already seen product updates that reflect our input.

What do you dislike most about this product?

We integrate this solution with Quickbooks for invoicing, and we do find there are some opportunities to improve this part of the solution.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you are a professional services organization that has a variety of project engagement models or contracting models with clients, I highly suggest you take a look at Forecast. This has been a very big upgrade in our technology stack and has helped us improve our business processes.
