What differentiates ESET Endpoint Security from other similar products?

Among the differences that make the difference between ESET Endpoint Protection Solutions and other similar products I can highlight the email protection layer being able to detect in real time the spam from mail servers and in turn analyze possible malware in order to perform corrective actions immediately, it also provides the ability to perform or execute rules previously configured in order to react to future similar threats.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

One of the main causes of negative economic impacts for a company is undoubtedly the loss of valuable information which has multiple causes such as theft and in other cases viruses and malware, this is where ESET focuses its efforts as it prevents any external threat that threatens the private information of the organization; with endpoint protection ensures that all incoming peripherals are under continuous monitoring and upon detecting any anomaly immediately executes the respective actions.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The tool is not efficient for adware blocking, it would be very useful to have a protection against these elements that in most occasions become invasive.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Undoubtedly I always recommend using a tool that protects the valuable information of my company and the devices that contain it; ESET is more than an antivirus, it is an advanced tool that provides internal and external protection, its management is centralized and from there you can view the entire conglomerate of devices and in turn define the rules in case of loss or theft of these in order that the information is not compromised.

What differentiates ESET Endpoint Security from other similar products?

This product has well-defined features that to a great extent provide that plus that every customer needs, the console is very intuitive and very easy to use, it properly integrates firewall functions for web filtering, which in corporate environments is extremely useful for the restrictions it provides according to each specific role.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

One of the main aspects for which we decided to implement this product is the control and protection over the different devices and peripherals that can be connected to our devices, to handle daily confidential information internal to the company or external customers there is an inherent risk of loss or modification of such information, the tool provides full control allowing under the console to provide types of permissions to different devices connected either USB, CD, printers, LPT port, this is extremely important because we eliminate potential sources of risk.

What do you dislike most about this product?

As it is a rigid tool in its protection, we have sometimes had false positives with files or external applications necessary for our operational activity, although the tool with its AI technology has allowed us to analyze these situations and exclude them from the real threats.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

From a business point of view and as an IT analyst, I can say that any threat implies the loss of information, the implementation of a tool like this guarantees that the information of our company and the devices that our work team accesses on a daily basis are under excellent protection.
