What differentiates Epicor Kinetic from other similar products?

I disagree with the way the notification feature for a sales management problem is implemented; I think it should be instant in order to address the problem. The ancient technology we were using was a very outdated ERP, however after some time, we decided we needed a more up-to-date solution so we could take control of our overall planning, shop floor, and inventory processes, and Epicor Kinetic is the best option for us.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

There are so many things about Epicor Kinetic that I love, but I especially love how strong its labor costing features are, e.g. the planning of pre-production materials, the supply chain, inventory management, and manufacture. This software is a true financial management solution with an elegant and clever user interface, and it is priced quite favorably and in line with its great quality.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Although I didn't find anything wrong with it, other aspects, like how severely limited the Dashboard function was, truly disappointed me. It may be necessary to consult a specialist to maintain the posting rules built within Epicor ERP. I've found that some workflows are challenging for me.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

You won't be let down if you know how to use this tool and have the necessary expertise. Having a dashboard creator in your organization is really advantageous. The system permits modification and contains all data. It will surely assist you to make profitable findings.

Now we have total control and proper oversight over our finances, and with its offered flexibility we can better manage our general ledger, accounts payable, and receivable. Epicore Kinetic platform also gives us the flexibility to add payroll, asset management, multi-site, and multi-currency options according to our needs.

The software has a great deal of versatility that can be designed and implemented fast, and Epicor Kinetic is simple to customize. The part of the web-based payment processing system that integrates with Epicor ERP gives users full control, settlement, and reporting with high-level compliance.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Some of the elements could be difficult to locate and bury. Some of the workflows I've encountered seem to be laborious, but that could be because of how our IT and accounting departments put them up when we first installed the system.

We needed something that was easier to maintain and provided mobility and flexibility that the old mainframe custom system lacked. The main reason to choose it was the product configurator that lacked in my previous platform.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Web clients and terminal servers are all options in a multi-tier configuration that includes a database, application server, and options for web clients, fat clients, and terminal servers. In addition to code development, there are numerous customization options. Multi-everything. It's relatively simple to upgrade and stay current with the latest releases. Excellent administrative tools and the ability to scale up resources as demand grows, including the ability to localize servers for improved performance.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The optimization of this software is one feature that I dislike. Another thing to keep in mind is that the PDF reports take at least two minutes to view. We also need experts to assist us with the software's implementation and a dedicated team to maintain it.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I create a lot of reports, and it's very simple to pull data into an SSRS report and present it in the way I want. Epicor appeals to me primarily because of its ease of use. With the numerous screens provided in this software, data entry and data queries are simple. One feature worth mentioning is the powerful search function for finding different screens, which also displays their path within this software, which is a big plus.
