What differentiates eClinical Works Patient Engagement from other similar products?

eClinicalWorks is very intuitive and easy to use. Overall, it is an excellent EMR and PM software product that is full of the latest EMR features, which makes seeing patients and running a medical practice or a hospital highly efficient. The customization and interface capabilities is what sets this product apart from other similar products.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The registry is the fastest way to get info drilled down to your specific needs. We are using the kiosk and questionnaires. This feature has helped tremendously with meeting Clinical Integration (CI) measures. It has also helped streamline patient check-in and collecting outstanding balances.

What do you dislike most about this product?

eCW offers so many features and options, that I could see a new user potentially being a little overwhelmed at first by all these capabilities. It takes time to learn this system and you have to stay patient. Also, Tech support can be a pain. They often call you back an hour later and can be difficult to understand.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Spend time training with their trainers on specific things, that you need help with, to thoroughly learn the system.
