What differentiates Duo Security from other similar products?

I recently came to know about Duo Security app from CISCO and this seems to be good. First thing I liked about is the UI, it looks a bit different from other authentication app. Good thing is we can add multiple apps for authentication using QR code or by adding Activation code form the app.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I liked the user interface and the simplicity. Adding a device is also simple just add the activation code and your app is secure. Duo also provides functionality to back up Duo protected accounts and third party OTP accounts for account recovery if you shift to new device. For you recovery thing you have to set recovery password.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Nothing right now but Duo ask you to send Usage data for their app improvement which I think is not good.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Considering the extra layer of protection for your app you can use it. You get option for most of the apps for protection plus the interface is user friendly.

It's a great app for multi factor authentication. It also integrates well with third party applications.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Biometric Authentication for sure.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There is no set way to have a hardware token integrated for authentication.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It's a great application for multi factor authentication, you can go for it. It is easy to integrate and reliable.
