What differentiates DocStar from other similar products?

When searching for a product that would create value for our company, almost all had the same exact features and fairly high price points. We randomly came across Docstar and not only did it offer more features, but the price was significantly lower than the others we had seen. We started out only looking for a software that would operate only as an electronic filing cabinet and ended up with a product that would integrate with our ERP system to fully automate our AP processes.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It is very user friendly. I would also say that having the ability to spread the product out over the whole company has provided us with a much higher and quicker ROI than if we just limited it to our AP department. It was quite easy to utilize in other areas of our organization which was something we did not plan on when the process started.

What do you dislike most about this product?

We have a fairly small IT department, so the integration has not always been the best and with them being spread so thin, we have not really had dedicated time to fix a few small bugs.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Check to see if they commonly work with your ERP and make sure you have an IT team member dedicated to the product. It might not be their only job function, but having someone you know can dedicate time to it will help you in the long run.
