What differentiates Datto SIRIS from other similar products?

I have used the Datto product for more than 2 years of my service and I find it a very strong, unique, and reliable product. Although, you need strong Linux knowledge to troubleshoot IT-related issues but the GUI interface is user-friendly for everyone. Unlike others, Datto provides a complete backup solution. The only problem is that it is a bit pricey especially when you need to order your data from the cloud in an RT Drive which includes the courier expenses.

Virtualization and disaster recovery.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The product is pricey.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Highly recommended product in terms of technology but you may not get a good business because of the cost.

Physical Backup for Multiple Platforms Backs up data and system info for non-virtualized systems. Primarily Windows and Linux servers but also, potentially, AIX, Unix and others.

Virtual Machine Backup Automatically discovers and protects VMs as they come online, move, and change. Production VMs are replicated to a secondary data store.

Backup of Cloud Based Data In addition to targeting backups to the cloud, the solution also has the capability to back up primary data and services already in the cloud.

Backup Automation Solution automates backup, recovery and remediation tasks using RestAPI and CLI to integrate with 3rd party solutions, reduce cost and enforce standards.

Deduplication Implementation Deduplication of redundant data blocks is implemented by the solution. Deduplication can be at source, target, or globally (source and target).

Backup Monitoring and Reporting Backup and replication are continually monitored for status and effectiveness. Detailed reporting is available on successful and unsuccessful operations.

Analytics Built-in real-time and historical reporting and analytics on SLAs, performance, and resource consumption, as well as predictive capabilities to plan & optimize.

Replication for High Availability Beyond secondary copy backup, the solution also manages replication of primary data host-to-host and site-to-site for live failover and high availability.

Automated Backup Testing and Verification Goes beyond monitoring whether backup jobs completed by verifying the integrity of data restoration.

Replication for Long Term Storage and Disaster Recovery Onsite backup data is replicated and stored to a public cloud (AWS, Azure). Can also include restore-to-cloud capabilities for Disaster Recovery as a Service.

File Explorer Granular Restore Individual files can be located and restored from backup media without the need for full system mounting and restore.
