What differentiates Cohesity DataProtect from other similar products?

Ideal for safeguarding VMware workloads in our on-premises setup, while also enabling the long-term archiving of backups in cost-effective public cloud storage. The user-friendly interface and policy-based backup system simplify the protection of extensive environments.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Setting up backup jobs, restoring files and VMs, and searching for these items are fast and straightforward. The installation and implementation process can be completed in half a day, depending on the size of your environment. Restoring a 100GB VM from Cohesity was finished and operational in under 10 minutes.

What do you dislike most about this product?

At times, they release new features to the market before they are fully refined or complete.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The web GUI simplifies backup management, providing easy access from anywhere.

What differentiates Cohesity DataProtect from other similar products?

As a user for me it provided me with data protection, backup of my data,handling disaster recovery, and file storage into a single platform rather than indulging in multiple aspects. It kept it's service to one subject that is security and backup which is what I was looking for.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It is global, provides high availability for your data and is quite ease to use.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Needs to work on more advanced features as to compete with the market competitor's like fast and enhanced integrations, Advanced yet easily usable AI features.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

As a user concerned for security, cohesity is an investible option.
