What differentiates Cisco Umbrella from other similar products?

It offers Unified Security posture by easily integrating with other Cisco security products, including Secure Endpoint and Firepower threat defence.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

This successfully blocks access to dangerous websites and blocks malicious domains also offers an intuitive dashboard that provides easy access to insights.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Data does not appear on the dashboard right away and It provides limited visibility into user activity.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Assess Your Organisation's specific security requirements and check whether your current security solution can be integrated with Cisco Umbrella.

The authenticity and easy use.

I don’t really have much negative to say as I’ve never used a competing product to compare.

Just make sure you speak to others who have used similar products.

Great way to filter web traffic

What differentiates Cisco Umbrella from other similar products?

Cisco Umbrella makes a great work filtering traffic to the internet, web sites and domains. One of the main differences with other products is that gives you the option to have the client installed in your PC so no matter if you are in the office or not, your traffic to the web is protected.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The analysis and reporting dashboards are great, it has historical data for a long time that can be useful in case of troubleshooting. It can connect with AD so you can filter by hostname, IP address or destination IP or domain.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I would only add the possibility of being able to integrate the product with other products such as firewalls and with Microsoft Azure.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Umbrella is a great tool for DNS security, it can complement your network security rules adding a extra layer of security. It's easy to implement, manage and troubleshooting. You can protect your entire office network by th Public IP and protect your end users devices installing the agent software.
