What differentiates Cisco Jabber from other similar products?

Cisco Jabber is an ultra-efficient unified intelligence administration. It provides instant messaging, voice and video calls, voice messaging, desktop sharing, conferences, and status. It can also be used as a softphone, so no IP phone is needed.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The program can interact with IM instantly and interact with users. Enterprise-class IP voice and video telephony. Cisco Jabber is also integrated with Microsoft Office, which allows us to view the availability status of other users and contact them from within Microsoft Office. Besides, the status will be automatically updated.

What do you dislike most about this product?

In this program messaging is only open within the company, not determined. Similarly, calling behind NAT does not work. There are also no push notifications on Android gadgets. More, it uses a lot of battery on mob equipment.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Before using Cisco Jabber we were using another meeting software which we used to have a lot of difficulty in communicating with each other so after using this software now all our problems have been solved. I would advise others to use it too.

Like Skype for Business...with an extra feature!

What differentiates Cisco Jabber from other similar products?

I have used Skype for Business as the instant messaging tool in most of my jobs, but Cisco Jabber has a unique notification feature that alerts you as soon as a contact returns to "Available" status in green.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Cisco Jabber replaced landline very well. Even though I had a landline phone sitting on my desk (same number using VOIP), I used Cisco's Jabber for dialing as it was easier to look up / click on contacts as soon as they showed up in green as "Available" status. I also received calls through the application as it was connected to my hands-free headset.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Nothing to dislike about Cisco Jabber's instant messaging application. However, while writing a proctored online exam set up as a Cisco Webex meeting, I found a lag in the typing of words and scrolling since the Word Document where I essentially "took control" of the examiner's screen displaying the Word document with exam questions.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If your team is used to Skype for Business, then you will not find much missing in the Cisco Jabber experience. Rather, you'll find an extra feature when it comes to notifying you about contact's availability status returning to "Available" in green.
