Best Learning Platform

What differentiates Canvas from other similar products?

For me it's dynamic, flexible and useful and I cam easily synchronize it with many other applications like Google Drive, Assessments, and file uploads. Tutors can share all the required materials over the canvas, so all we need would be in the same place.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

You can teach your faculty and staff how to use it and push them to use it as much as possible. Once they know how, it's really such a helpful resource to students

What do you dislike most about this product?

For me app could be broadened out to replicate even more of the desktop functionality rest I have not come across any issue yet.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It has been really helpful for organizing all aspects of a course through giving access at all times to things like grades, assignment details/deadlines, and course materials.

Pros

  • Reliable
  • Trustworthy
  • Efficient Service

Canvas: Easy to Use Education LMS

Likeliness to Recommend

9 /10

What differentiates Canvas from other similar products?

I find Canvas to be fairly adaptable and beneficial for managing huge quantities of linked or layered material, especially when working with big groups of students. As it is set up at my university, all course components (e.g., syllabus, grades, Zoom information, etc.) may be found in a single menu for easy access. Through the usage of Canvas, we enable our Registered Training Agencies to offer accredited and non-accredited training options, including everything from brief, self-paced courses to Advanced Diploma degrees delivered in a mixed manner Using the system in a creative way is another way we are expressing ourselves.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The program combines nicely with other applications used in the classroom, such as Panopto or Zoom. In general, the course's essential elements assignments and grades operate well. Users will find Canvas to be easy to work with, as well as quick and comprehensive. These include quizzes, assignments, graded assignments, grade book sync, email, and messaging capabilities, online discussion capabilities, and Google and Turnitin submission capabilities. It is a one-stop-shop for all your needs. It's nice to have a multi-level screen as the default setting. The classroom and the mainstream news might be linked in many ways.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Things that I took for granted in other systems are still lacking from Canvas, which I've only recently realized. Faculty should be listened to, and some of these concerns should be prioritized for growth. In Canvas, numerous applications are accessible for integration, including Box and Dropbox, however, it's impossible to determine if each add-on is free or requires a purchase/fee without checking each one individually. Apps are not directly linked to Canvas and must be accessed independently.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

To work with Canvas, it's best to start with the desktop version, which has more options for adapting to web browsers. You can then use media queries to modify the platform's design for usage on various devices with varying screen sizes. However, I'm aware that there are other programs like Blackboard that I haven't yet explored. I really enjoyed using Canvas and I highly recommend using it for your education business.
